I’ve been to Odd Café’s Makati branch before, so when I found out they had a branch in Ortigas, I was curious to see how it compared. And honestly, I think I prefer the Ortigas branch.
Maybe it’s because it’s much nearer my place, but there’s also something about the space that feels more chill and relaxed. I really liked the interiors, the furniture, the little design details, and how the whole place feels like somewhere you can actually stay for a while without feeling rushed.
So if you’re looking for a cafe in Ortigas where you can grab coffee, have something to eat, work quietly, or catch up with friends, this is one I’d keep in mind.

About Odd Café Ortigas
Odd Cafe in Ortigas is located on the second floor of The Crescent Condominium along San Miguel Avenue in Ortigas Center, Pasig. The branch opened as Odd Cafe's second location after its original Makati branch.
I've already been to the Makati branch, but between the two, I find myself leaning toward Ortigas. For one, it's much closer to where I live, which obviously helps. 😂
But beyond convenience, I like that the Ortigas branch feels more relaxed to me. It's spacious, there's a good mix of seating, and the interiors have a personality without feeling too overwhelming. The Ortigas branch also has a fully plant-based food menu, which is one of the things that sets it apart from the original Makati location.
The Interiors
This was probably one of my favorite things about the Ortigas branch.
I really love how the space looks! There's a mix of glass blocks, warm wood, interesting furniture, plants, and colorful details throughout the cafe. The furniture especially caught my attention because it has that slightly retro, mid-century feel while still looking modern.
The space also gets a lot of natural light in certain areas, which makes it feel quite different depending on where you're sitting.
I like cafes where the interiors are interesting enough that you can look around and notice something new, but still comfortable enough that you can actually sit down and stay for a couple of hours. Odd Café Ortigas definitely fits that description for me.
Food, Drinks & Playlist
Of course, a cafe is only as good as the things you actually order.
From our visit, I liked that there's a decent variety of food and drinks, rather than having a menu that's focused solely on coffee and pastries. The Ortigas branch's menu includes plant-based savory dishes, desserts, and specialty drinks. And to me, the prices are fairly reasonable for the overall experience.
I also have to mention the playlist because that's something I always notice when I'm in a cafe. The music here was good, enough to give the space some personality without completely taking over the room. Basically, it has the kind of atmosphere where you can enjoy your coffee and food while just hanging out.
And yes, the staff deserve a mention too.
The ODD Cafe staff who attended to us were genuinely nice and accommodating. One of them even complimented the shirt I was wearing that day. Small interactions like that really do make a cafe visit more memorable.
A Good Cafe for Work & Catch-Ups
One of the things I like about Odd Café Ortigas is that you don't necessarily have to go there just to have coffee. There are spaces where you can work quietly on your laptop, read, or just spend some time alone. There are also larger tables and seating arrangements that work better if you're meeting your team or catching up with a group of friends.
The cafe has plenty of seating and outlets suited to laptop users, and there's Wi-Fi access as well. So I can see myself coming back here for different reasons, maybe a quiet afternoon working on something, a casual meeting, or just a coffee run when I don't feel like staying home.
HOW TO GET THERE
Here's some practical information if you're visiting for the first time.
Odd Café Ortigas
2/F, The Crescent Condominium, 29 San Miguel Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig, Metro Manila 1605.
The cafe is along San Miguel Avenue in Ortigas Center, making it fairly accessible if you're already around Ortigas, Shaw, or the surrounding business district.
If you're coming from elsewhere in Metro Manila, the easiest option for me would be to book a Grab or taxi directly to The Crescent Condominium.
You can also reach the general Ortigas area by MRT-3 and continue by a short ride-hailing trip or local transport depending on where you're coming from.
One thing to remember: Odd Café is on the second floor, so don't be surprised if the building itself looks more understated from the outside. The cafe is tucked inside the condominium building.
TIPS
1. Come during off-peak hours if you're planning to work and want a quieter experience.
2. Choose your seat depending on what you're doing. There are smaller areas that work well for solo work and larger tables that are better for groups.
3. Check the current menu before visiting. Odd Café has a mix of staple and branch-specific food and drinks, so there's quite a bit to choose from. Cosmo.ph
4. Don't rush your visit. This is one of those cafes where I think the space is part of the experience.
5. If you're meeting friends or a team, Ortigas is a good option. There's enough variety in seating to make it work for both casual hangouts and more focused conversations.
6. Check the hours before heading over. Current listings show the Ortigas branch open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, but cafe schedules can change.

My Take
I've been to the Makati branch a while back, but if you asked me which one I'd go back to, I'd probably pick Ortigas.
It's nearer to me, yes, but I also just prefer the overall vibe. It's much more chill; I love the interiors and furniture, the playlist was good, the staff was genuinely nice, and there's enough variety in the menu that you don't feel limited to just getting coffee.
I also like that I can imagine coming here for completely different reasons, whether coffee and a quiet afternoon, getting some work done, meeting with a team, or simply catching up with friends.
Basically, it's the kind of cafe that makes sense for my usual life: sometimes I want to work, sometimes I want to eat, sometimes I just want to sit somewhere nice with a good playlist.
